A renovation of a single unit in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. The floor plan was transformed from a 45 sqm 3DK layout to a 1LDK layout.

The renovation involved incorporating a crank-shaped open space that connects three windows within the unit, creating a layout that maximizes the sense of spaciousness. At the same time, careful consideration was given to ensure proper ventilation and ample natural light.

Furthermore, considering the owner’s intention to potentially rent out the unit in the future, the water facilities were designed with ease of future renovation in mind.
