To effectively utilize an irregularly shaped site, the house is designed with a pentagonal floor plan and courtyards on both the first and second floors, creating a fluid and interconnected space. The continuous ring-shaped space can be partially divided into individual rooms using movable partitions.
The courtyard’s white steel panels are given a glossy, mirror-like effect, allowing the changing sky and the variations in the courtyard’s vegetation to be reflected on the walls. This design intention aims to seamlessly integrate the changes in the external environment into daily life.
