As part of the program for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo, a hybrid exhibition was held that combined a trade show, installations, and an art exhibition. The venue design aimed to integrate all these elements seamlessly.
Taking inspiration from Japanese festivals, a concept was developed that deviated from the traditional grid pattern layout. Instead, a random booth layout was proposed, centered around a DJ booth called “YAGURA.” Original furniture made from larch wood was also created for the venue.
This event served as a catalyst for many brands, leading to successful expansion into international markets.
